PENSACOLA, FL, USA, 6 February 2021 - Vicar Group, LLC participated in Pensacola State College's Virtual Multi-Cultural Job Fair. More than 20 Northwest Florida employers, including Vicar Group, LLC, showed up to meet candidates at the 27th Multicultural Job Fair from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, 6 February 2021. The event's purpose was to provide students and employers a chance to meet, establish professional relationships, and discuss potential job opportunities. Employers met job seekers showcasing their intellectual savois-faire from diverse backgrounds and skillsets. Students were encouraged to come dressed to impress and bring digital resumes and cover letters.
Jo McArthur, Business & Industry Outreach Coordinator at Pensacola State College stated, "This is our first virtual event of this type. We have advertised both internally and externally and hope to have good attendance." She later added, "This is our first time doing this. We think we have thought of everything, but I'm sure we will have glitches in the morning."
Despite McArthur's guarded optimism, their hard work paid off, and the event went off without a hitch.
